The Association shall seek

1. To promote the welfare and to safeguard the interests of retired police officers and their families.
2. To facilitate social interaction and promote esprit de corps among retired and serving IPS officers and their families.
3. To provide a forum for facilitating exchange of ideas and information among members and serving or retired professionals and scholars/experts etc. on matters of common interest in the field of law, justice, human development, administration, security, public order and other matters of national importance.
4. To articulate the views of members in any matter and through any medium deemed fit by the Executive Committee/General Body on any matter concerning the Association or its member collectively.
5. To promote directly or indirectly the welfare of the aged, the underprivileged and others needing help.
6. To co-operate with other similar or likeminded organizations/groups in furtherance of the objective of the Association or in furtherance of national interest
   and may engage in such lawful activities as may be necessary or desirable for achieving the above objectives.
